Eighteen

You really get used to rain here. Nothing special anymore. Only rain. But sometimes sun decides it’s time to show up. I think each country get the same amount of sun per day. Only some get more. You know: All are equal but some are more equal than others. Well, this weekend, sun showed up! We decided to discover another part of Haslemere. The forest. It’s green. Green. Light-green. Dark-green. Army green. Green. No wonder people here are actually relaxed, detached from everyone and everything.  You forget when you enter the magic of English books. You expect to see a dwarf or an elf, or a hare. A house, a castle! You expect the tree arches to lead to an unknown place. You almost hope it is so. A place where you can lead the adventures you alway longed for. We met a prince charming in disguise…: a golden-retriver! Of course he wouldn’t return to the witch (his mistress)but insted attempted to free himself from the curse by eating sticks. But the witch got him and he had to follow. Though he really loved Henri…

I discovered I really like being in a high place, though I’m a bit afraid of hights. Ironically.  I love climbing trees. There is this nice feeling when touching a tree, like feeling it. It is beautiful to climb, higher and higher not looking back. And then when you do, you wonder how on earth you’ll get back down. But still it is fun. I guess I’m kinda of an adrenaline seeker. (I started doing trampolining 🙂 )

We are officially adults! Eighteen! We established a new record! We saw eighteen cats in a single after-noon! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! (Fangirl moment)  I’m not going to go into detail….Cats are too complicated and genious for us humans to grasp. I’ll let the pictures talk! :3
